I’ll be painting Wednesday through Thursday… then the reception is Griday evening and the show is Saturday and Sunday
I’ll be painting Tuesday through Friday all over Kern County, there’s a reception Friday and the work stays up for a month at Bird Dog Arts in Tejon Pass Outlets off I 5.
If you have the oil painting gear to work outside, I’ll guide you through a process. It would be helpful if you know how to mix color from a limited palette of primary colors, and can set up your own equipment.
This is a two day course most likely Thursday and Friday. But save Saturday in case there are weather issues and we need to shift the dates. Will meet in South Bay Area most likely between Los Gatos, south San Jose, Possibly the coast.
Finally! An opportunity to view hundreds of paintings to find the perfect one for you! ! Lots of new pieces (I painted over 200 paintings in the past year) and older works, of all sizes. Some will be framed, many unframed, and I’ll have frames on hand if you want it ready to hang!. I’ll be back for my 4th Plein Air event in Alameda, CA where I find some of my favorite subjects: urban, intriguing homes, and boat harbors. The show is on Saturday at the South Shore Shopping Center.
At the conception of this exhibition, the award-winning professional artists of Allied Artists West were given the theme, “road trip,” and each took off on their individual interpretive journeys. Thus, the show is a collection of different media and varying interpretations of what a road trip might inspire. Most artworks are accompanied by poems complimenting the visual piece and were written by The Monday Night Poets, a local writers’ group.with “Allied Artists West, a professional group of artists in Santa Clara County. I’ll be exhibiting 9 paintings. Stay tuned for information regarding an opening reception.
Painters will explore gorgeous vistas within a 40 mile radius of Quincy CA for 4 days, then have work framed and for sale on Friday night through Saturday til 3. A quickdraw will take place Saturday morning from 10 to noon with those works on sale as well.
